Formation of the Time Vortex
Thank you for visiting my journal entry,
This concept is based on the comic and TV series Doctor who, special consideration is to be given to Writer; Alan Moore and Dave Lloyd.
It was an arduous task that our space fleet was attempting to accomplish. My colleague and friend known commonly as Omega, had determined that the formation of a wormhole that spanned the length of the entire universe would allow us access to any point in spacetime. It would require a tremendous power source. It was determined that the star in the constellation of Ao, known as Qqaba would make the best choice for our experiment. Our ships were protected by a shield t
Before anything, I would like to clarify: I'm Scandinavian; born with blue eyes, blond hair and light skin. Not that pretty, but relatively tall, just the type Hitler would have liked. I was raised in a lovely neighbourhood with the unfortunate tag 'ghetto' (no, not 'American ghetto', nor the ghetto type from WWII), where about 40% of the people I met on a daily basis were either from other countries or children of those – mostly from central Europe to the Middle East, but we also have quite many Vietnamese. It has never bothered me; thanks to that place and those people, that exact upbringing by my parents who welcomed any child I brou

Scientists have for the first time used DNA to encode the contents of a book. At 53,000 words, and including 11 images and a computer program, it is the largest amount of data yet stored artificially using the genetic material.
The researchers claim that the cost of DNA coding is dropping so quickly that within five to 10 years it could be cheaper to store information using this method than in conventional digital devices.
Deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA – the chemical that stores genetic instructions in almost all known organisms – has an impressive d

I am bringing your attention to a documentary, Beauty is Embarrassing, that
deeply inspired me after a screening last week. The life wisdom and positive
philosophy unfolding over a lifetime of living as an artist was deeply motivating.
I invited Wayne White, the subject of this documentary, to join deviantART afterwards.
I thought this would be something you would enjoy no matter where you might be at
on your own personal journey as an artist. While watching this I was also reminded
of the heartfelt explanations by many artists of what it means to choose the life of an

Don't Be a Bronie-Jackass!
READ THIS BEFORE READING THE JOURNAL: Before you read this journal and chew me out, let me make it clear that I am not chewing-out all the fans of "MLP: FiS, just the ones who have caused this Derpy-dilemma.
This is nothing more than just stern and pissed-off chew-out to the people who are causing this protest against the voice of Derpy and petition to keep Hasbro from banning the Derpy character from the show, and it's not Hasbro's fault. IT'S YOU! Yea, you know who I'm talking to, the hardcore-bronies who cried an epic-movie-"NOOOOO!!!" over a little character-voice-mix-up that happened at the near beginning of the MLP:FiS episode "The Las
The Power of Friendship and it's Magic by Nuke-Mayhem, journal
The Power of Friendship and it's Magic
I know a lot people think friendship is pointless, worthless, and just something to keep kids occupied. They're wrong. Friendship can do great and powerful things.
A friendship can help a weak kid stand up to an army of bullies that pick on him just for the fun of it.
A friendship can show a person that they are worth something to this world.
A friendship can stop someone from doing something stupid that will ruin not only their life but that person's family's lives.
A friendship can stop a suicide.
A friendship can convince a small group of teens to not shoot guns off at a school where their lives are a living hell at.
Even a friendshi
We witnessed history this Wednesday, all in the form of an inconvenience. So what if you couldn't access Wikipedia? If they didn't do what they did on Wednesday, we wouldn't be (temporarily) celebrating a huge victory not just for the Internet, but for free speech all around the world.
Wikipedia blacked itself out to protest two bills in the US Congress; the Stop Online Piracy Act (details here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act) in the House of Representatives and the PROTECT-IP Act (details here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protect_IP_Act) in the Senate.
The thing about these bills how bad they were. They were clearly

I'll be gone Jan 18th for the fight against SOPA
On Jan 18th, a ton of websites are going off-line in the protest against SOPA and PIPA. I too will support this by not going online at all on that day, and if you don't like SOPA, I suggest you do so as well. See ya Jan 19th.
